1. Agreement and provider
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Softverse, based in Slovakia (“Softverse”, “we”, “us”), for your use of Ready: Tasks & Notes, its website, and related services (together, “Ready”). By downloading, installing, or using Ready, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Ready.

2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use Ready for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization. If local law requires a parent or guardian’s consent, you may use Ready only with that consent.
3. License to use Ready
Subject to these Terms and any applicable purchase terms, Softverse grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Ready on supported Apple devices you own or control. If you obtain Ready through an app marketplace, its usage rules also apply.
You may not:
- copy, sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit Ready except where expressly permitted;
- reverse engineer, bypass technical protections, or attempt to derive source code, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits;
- use Ready to violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or the rights of another person; or
- interfere with Ready’s website, update, configuration, or feedback services, including by sending malicious or excessive traffic.
4. Your content and responsibilities
You keep ownership of tasks, notes, files, drawings, prompts, and other content you create or connect to Ready (“Your Content”). These Terms do not give Softverse ownership of Your Content.
You are responsible for Your Content, for having permission to use it, and for maintaining appropriate backups. Ready includes exportable Markdown and local-file features, but synchronization and backups can still fail. Do not rely on a single device or service as the only copy of important information.
You grant Softverse only the limited rights needed to process information you deliberately send to Softverse, such as feedback or a support request, for the purpose of providing support, improving Ready, and operating the related service.
5. Microsoft To Do integration
Microsoft To Do integration is optional. When you connect a Microsoft account, Ready requests delegated Microsoft permissions for identity and task access, including the ability to read and write your Microsoft To Do data. Ready acts on that data according to actions you take in the app and maintains a local mirror for offline and unified views.
You must comply with the terms that apply to your Microsoft account and organization. Microsoft is not a party to these Terms, does not sponsor Ready, and provides no warranty for Ready. Disconnecting your account from Ready removes Ready’s stored connection and mirror; it does not delete the original data held by Microsoft. You can separately revoke Ready’s access through Microsoft account or organizational controls.
6. iCloud, linked folders, and third-party services
Ready can interact with Apple iCloud and CloudKit, Microsoft Graph, local or synchronized folders, OpenAI, Anthropic, and other services you choose. Those services are provided by third parties under their own terms, privacy statements, availability, and account rules. You are responsible for the accounts, permissions, credentials, fees, and content you use with them.
Softverse does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their downtime, data loss, policy changes, security incidents, or decisions to limit or end access. We may adapt, suspend, or remove an integration if a third-party service changes or if continued access would create security, legal, or operational risk.
7. Optional AI features
AI features are off by default and require you to choose a supported provider and supply your own API credentials. When you run an AI action, relevant content is sent directly to that provider. Provider charges and provider terms are your responsibility.
AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unsuitable. Review every result before relying on it or saving a proposed change. Do not use AI output from Ready as a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, safety, or other expert advice. You are responsible for deciding how to use AI input and output and for ensuring you have the right to submit the content involved.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Statement explains how Ready handles data, including Microsoft account and task data, iCloud sync, AI requests, website requests, and feedback. It forms part of these Terms.
9. Updates, availability, and changes
We may provide fixes, updates, or new versions. Some updates may be required for security, compatibility, or continued access to a third-party integration. Supported platforms, features, and availability may change over time.
We aim to keep Ready useful and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend a related online service for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
10. Intellectual property
Ready, its design, software, branding, documentation, and website are owned by Softverse or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license above, no rights are granted to you. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
If you send suggestions or ideas, you permit Softverse to use them without restriction or payment, provided we do not publicly identify you as their source without permission.
11. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ready is provided “as is” and “as available”. Softverse disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that Ready will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
This disclaimer does not limit warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer guarantees.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Softverse will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business, opportunities, goodwill, or data arising from Ready or these Terms.
Where liability cannot be excluded, Softverse’s total liability arising from Ready will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Softverse for Ready during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or EUR 50. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Ready at any time and can remove it from your devices. You remain responsible for managing or deleting data held by Apple, Microsoft, AI providers, folder-sync services, or other third parties.
Softverse may suspend access to related online services or terminate this license if you materially breach these Terms, use the services unlawfully, threaten their security or availability, or if continuing to provide them becomes unlawful. Where reasonable, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law—will survive.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Ready, third-party services, law, or security needs. We will post the updated Terms here and change the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide an appropriate notice. Continued use after the new Terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not agree, stop using Ready.
15. Governing law and consumer rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in the Slovak Republic will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights and protections provided by the law of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
16. General terms
If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue in effect and the affected part will be interpreted as closely as legally possible to its intended effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without Softverse’s consent; Softverse may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, or transfer of Ready, subject to applicable law.
These Terms, the Privacy Statement, and any applicable marketplace or purchase terms form the agreement about Ready and replace earlier discussions about the same subject.
