1.1.0
August 2, 2026
Added
- Notes open in the full editor on iPhone and iPad. The same WYSIWYG Markdown editor as on the Mac: keyboard toolbar, tappable checkboxes and task cards, the slash menu, images by insert or paste — and on iPad also drag & drop and the usual keyboard shortcuts.
Changed
- "Change Icon…" offers 48 icons instead of 15, on larger swatches grouped by theme, each with a readable name. The icons Ready's own sample notebooks use are in the list now — before, changing one meant you could not set it back.
- Text, icons and controls follow the system text size, up to the accessibility sizes, across the app and the editor. Sidebar rows wrap instead of truncating, and the completion circle and importance star are easier to hit.
- Raw Markdown can be turned on from the editor toolbar on iPhone and iPad — it used to be a Mac-only toggle.
Fixed
- The AI provider key had to be entered again after every launch of the downloaded Mac app. It now saves once and stays, and it syncs to iPhone and iPad.
1.0.0
July 26, 2026
First public release. Ready for Mac, signed and notarized by Apple.
Added
- Tasks and notes in one app. Lists, sections and notebooks in a single sidebar, with My Day for what you plan to do today and My Week for the Monday–Sunday picture.
- Microsoft To Do sync. Sign in and your lists, tasks, steps, reminders, due dates and flagged emails stay in step, in both directions.
- A Markdown editor that shows the result, not the syntax. Headings, lists, checklists, tables, code and links render as you type; images, drawings and per-view backgrounds are part of the document.
- Linked folders. Point Ready at a folder of Markdown files and read and search them in place, without importing anything.
- Search and the command palette. Full-text search across notes, tasks and linked files, and ⌘K to jump anywhere or run a command.
- The optional AI assistant. Bring your own Claude or OpenAI key to summarise, rewrite, tag, find tasks in a note, or get a briefing for the day — off until you turn it on.
- Private iCloud sync, settings for appearance, notifications and accounts, and an in-app check that tells you when a new version is out.
